SIA receives recognition for innovative activities
The International Social Security Administration (ISSA) has granted the Icelandic Social Insurance Administration (SIA) an approval for good practice in 2023, which includes the introduction of two innovations in the business; one for the Client Ombudsman and the other on the digital disability certificate on Ísland.is. Huld Magnúsdóttir, the director of the SIA, accepted the approval on behalf of the TR at the ISSA European Parliament in Porto, Portugal, on April 16.
